I can't help but chuckle when I hear people complain about the patches, but then state they will wait for the tier lists before they give their final opinion. Those who can't figure out what to make of the changes by now don't know enough about the game for it to make a difference. Like this cat online is trying to tell me that Anna and Lei are bad, but "when the tier lists come out, we'll know for sure." Lol, no. Lei has never been bad in any Tekken game. His worst game was T4 and people still won tournaments, despite cheap Jin and Nina. His damage is fine in this game. Anna's not good on paper, but people will lose to her 50/50s and she has one of the best Rage Arts in the game.
Asuka and Miguel probably have the most drastic changes, and I expect people to start claiming Asuka is top tier. The only person who was nerfed hard across the board was Ling. Despite that, she is still the best version of Ling we've had in the last 15 years. Dragunov was number 2 for nerfs, but at least he got a great new whiff punisher out of it. Also anyone who didn't think they were going to change d+2 was just being greedy, that move was way too good considering how hard it is to punish.
Paul and Jack-7 are fine. Now Jack actually has to think a little bit when he wants to tag steppers, but has an extremely good wall bounce move and new PC, while Paul has a new i15 ws punisher, which can launch lows his hopkick couldn't get. I'm disappointed Master Raven lost her cH 4 combo, but she's got a better i15 punisher which Raven players have been wanting for years, so it's somewhat worth the trade. However her BT game is insane now so it's easy for her to put pressure on people.

I checked out a video that showed all of Noctis unsafe and duckable moves. I know how to punish him better against random players
I'm going to need you to forget everything you watched in that video so I can beat your ass.
Noctis is more of a wiff punish kind of character who can get you caught up defending Lows and tricking you into getting launched. Unfortunately he doesn't have a sweep you can use that will turn into some 60 damage plus combo so at higher levels he is definitely a bytch to use I'm going to be stuck and yellow ranks for a little while
But let me know when you're ready to pull up because all that unsafe crap sounds good when noct isn't swinging a 10-foot sword in your face
