Was my favorite game. Was unfairly hated on because of the DLC. If the DLC was not on the disk people would have played the game with no bias but the FGC is just cheap. Sad because I have NEVER grinded a game and I was grinding the fukk out the game all for it to not even matter. My Cammy and old man Mishima was fresh, finally broke that plateau of intermediate to high level play all for nothing. :pacspit: Maybe the game shouldn't have had boost combos or maybe they could have been worked a different way. But other than that and gems it was a great game. Great footsies, high damage, tag system was on point, tekken characters were amazingly fresh.

I fukking hate follow the leader sheep ass people.

I would have played it more of the sound wasn't so horrendous online

Yeah, i didn't understand that mess for nothing. How lack of polish can you get to do something idiotic like that?

I wouldn't say it was my fav. fighter last gen, but it was pretty cool imo. THe DLC fiasco is what really did it in. Though I hear plenty of folks didn't care for its A-B-C-to-Launcher combo set up/overuse. I was whatever about that. I liked how thorough the high-low-mid game was enhanced due to the add of the Tekken characters and they worked out the Tekken cast moves and projectile avoidability quite well.

I can't remember if it was ever fixed either.
I don't think it ever was :dwillhuh:

What kinda mickey mouse quality control organization are they running over there. Capcom kinda deserves to die.

Hopefully Sony buys them

i know right. I don't think I've EVER played a fighting game with an even remotely similar problem. No matter how big or what type of fighter it was.

after a long time since it has been announced, Tekken x Street Fighter producer Katsuhiro Harada confirms that the fighting game is still going to have a release date and is still confirmed to be under development. Even though Bandai Namco has been giving out little confirmations throughout the years, the game is said to be "still in development and it's still moving forward." The producer is asking fans who were waiting for the game to be developed to calm down and asks for their patience.

"It is proceeding. It hasn't been canceled, so please relax," Harada said.

It is rumored to be released by 2016 and is expected to be playable on PS4 and Xbox One once it comes out.

Tekken X Street Fighter was first announced during the 2010 San Diego Comic Con. Shortly after, Street Fighter vs Tekken was released, which ran on Capcom's game engine. It became a Street Fighter game with Tekken Characters. It would be the opposite for TxSF as it would run under Konami's engine and would feature Street Fighter characters.

Tekken designer previously stated and confirmed that the game was still in production even though its years of delay.

He said, "It is moving forward, but that's on the development side. So obviously, with all of the products, there's that special timing that we need for that to have its own spotlight. So on the marketing side, it's a special situation."

Tekken 7 and Tekken x Street Fighter is expected on the current generation platforms, giving out the idea to experts that the graphics and gameplay would be taken up a notch. It was then furthe confirmed that it would run on Unreal Engine 4.

"With Unreal Engine 4, we can rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platforms and go beyond it," producer of the game Katsuhiro Harada reportedly said.

"Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it also allows us to bring Tekken 7 to any platform we desire."

Flying Wonkey did a translation for the key points from the interview on his Twitter, which touched on everything from Pokkén Tournament to Tekken 7 to Street Fighter V. The crossover title being worked on has actually wrapped up work on the base fighting systems. Even though the base system is complete, Tekken 7 is the priority right now. So that game has to first go into arcades, then after it receives its final update, the game will hit other platforms. Until then, work on Tekken x Street Fighter is going to be a slow burn.

The interview also adds that Street Fighter V is set to come out next fiscal year. Because of this, Harada and the rest of the team are trying to avoid cannibalizing hype for Street Fighter V as well as trying to avoid drowning Tekken x Street Fighter in every other fighting game’s success. Needless to say, there are a lot of fighting games coming out so it’s understandable for Harada to want to wait to reintroduce the franchise mash-up
