Tell me WHY they are 2 different big-budget Hercules movies that are coming out in 2014?

Have a feeling this will be an Olympus Has Fallen vs White House Down situation :patrice:. Last year everyone thought that the White House invasion movie that would make more money and perform better would be White House Down. White House Down had a better cast, with more renound actors(Tatum, Foxx, Gylenhall, Woods) a director(Roland Emmerich) who had been responsible for blockbusters such as Independence Day, 2010 and The Day After Tomorrow. It also had a bigger budget, better trailer and better visual effects. Whilst Olympus Has Fallen was filled with B-listers with the exception of Freeman and had a lead actor who hadn't been relevant since 2007, looked cheap and was R-rated. Yet when it was released it overpeformed, had a strong opening and was not only able to recoup it's budget, but double it aswell. Whilst White House Down on the other hand was the complete opposite and a colossal big budget flop despite having a better foundation for success. Also even with White House Down being PG-13, Olympus made more money than it in the states.

The Rock's Hercules movie has a bigger budget, more renound actors, a director who's previously handled big budget movies, will look better and will be marketed better. The other Hercules movie looks bad, however it looks very very similar to Immortals and that movie made 3 times it's budget with a similar budget to this film.

Cacs caught wind of a Greek god being played by a Kneegrow and are attempting to undercut Hercules: The Thracian Wars which has been in talks since 2008.......The Rock didn't come aboard till late 2012, and out of fukking no where in early 2013, this other movie is announced.........

These Hollyweird cac fakkits are not slick

:russ: I was wondering when someone was going to mention that a blackman is playing Hercules

I can't believe it isn't some massive up roar yet

That first Hercules movie looks like a bunch of studio execs were wondering what to do with the leftover sets from Spartacus and one of them was like:

"Maybe we could just shoot another movie with this stuff" :patrice:

That's literally the only reason I can think of why Hercules is fighting in what seems to be Roman armor in a Roman coliseum like a Roman gladiator, in a legend that stems from ancient Greece.

IMDB lists the production budget at $70 Million :heh:

The one that's coming out in January that they're advertising now looks so bad.
Who in the hell is this marketed for? I mean seriously who actually wants to get dressed, gas the car up, and walk into a theater and pay $15 bucks to watch this crap:mindblown:

b/c Hollywood never learns and thinks people will come around and flock to see characters no one has given a fukk about in ages. John Carter, Lone Ranger, etc.

Also... Kellan Lutz version is a joke. Also, Kellan Lutz could be Daniel Day Lewis for all i know but his name is fukkin Kellan Lutz... and he looks like a total douche
