4, 5, 6, 7, 9, and Tactics are all my favorites, for different reasons, with 10 and 12 being close runner ups.

They need to make a FF6 remake on ps4 and bring that entire story to next gen, to me hands down it had the best written plot out of any ff and the best cast of characters

FFX is my favorite. it was just such a different experience jumping from PS1 FF to PS2. hearing the characters voices made connecting with their stories easier and seem more personal. Thats what made it so memorable to me. the battles were more fast paced, boss battles were dramatic and epic, soundtrack was ridiculous.

FF8 is my runner up

The Nostalgia I have with 8 is in my top three rpg experiences behind playing Super Mario Rpg for the first time and Brave Fencer Musashi.

From walking around Balamb Garden and listening to the music to mashing the box button on every NPC in hopes of him being a Tetra Card player......I had way too much fun with that game, junction and fukked up magic system be damned.

Plus, I had no problem with Squall being Squall......the only problem I had with that game is that Almasy fakkit swinging kit out of no where and chopping a GF in half, like WTF, you are a human!
