A compelling counter argument. The thing you have to understand with such studies is that there can never be a big enough sample size to make a concrete conclusion, hence when talking about such issues it's just better to look at the MAIN factors affecting the life expectancy of a population, of which marriage is damn near negligible. Africans are some of the most family oriented individuals, what's our life expectancy, in comparison to Western men? What lowers the life expectancy of men in general, whether married or not? These are the real underlying issues, not marriage. One might even argue then that having children increases life expectancy if that was the case.
