Organize.
Mass action works, people protesting en masse works. At the very least we need to make it so that the inevitable change that is coming even if we stopped everything today won't result in the mass slaughter of people at the "border" like you saw at Gaza just magnified 1000x fold.
Most people are in denial about the severity of what is taking place. And the ramifications are just too abstract for the average person to be compelled to take action. The billionaire class doesn't want people to understand the ramifications of climate change. They want to maintain the status quo for profit even if it means the extinction of the human species.
At this point there should be mass demonstrations and social/civil disobedience. The very fact that people aren't in panic mode is indicative of our collective delusion.
I think as time goes on we'll start to see people beginning to panic and take to the streets and demand justice for being lied to all of these decades. The obfuscation of climate change by our government and Big Oil is perhaps the greatest act of betrayal in all human history. They have essentially sold out the entire human race for profit. Quite frankly in a more rational, honest, and less delusional society heads would have been rolling in the street.
they rather depend on oil money instead of developing new clean powersources so what can we do???
