When you let feminist run your country this is the type of nonsense you get.
It's not based on feminism, it's based on 'man as breadwinner' mindset. It's the same reason why courts are more likely to award the mother of a child custody than the father because there's an assumption the father would be too busy working and women are naturally better at raising children

This goes with their forcing women to have babies. Now they will have a confirmed father on file to force to pay support given these red states aren’t for welfare spending.

I don't think those two laws are nearly the same. But yeah, identifying the actual father of that child and not swindling the non-father is a good thing. The right people are being made responsible for that child coming into the world.

I'd be happy to allow abortions if DNA tests at birth were made mandatory and this new law were on the books.

Hold on just a minute, fellas. :mjgrin:

Seems like most of you didn't read the fine print.

(a) A person commits parentage fraud who:
(1) Seeks to legally establish the individual as the biological parent of a
child in the person's custody with intent to deprive the individual of property or to
prevent the child's actual biological parent from exercising parental rights to the
child and the person knows or reasonably should know that the individual is not
the child's biological parent; or
(2) Seeks to be legally established as a child's parent based on the
person's status as a biological parent of the child and the person knows or
reasonably should know that the person is not the child's biological parent.
(b) Parentage fraud is a Class A misdemeanor.

(c) Subsection (a) does not apply when:

(1) The child involved was conceived as a result of an act that would be
aggravated rape, as defined in § 39-13-502; rape, as defined in § 39-13-503;
rape of a child, as defined in § 39-13-522; especially aggravated rape, as defined
in § 39-13-534; or especially aggravated rape of a child, as defined in § 39-13-
535;
(2) The child involved has been or is in the process of being adopted; or
(3) The victim of the offense was the defendant's spouse at the time of
the offense.

This is the GOP, they are going to force births and force every man who could possibly be the baby daddy to test to keep poor moms off the state payroll
