There's a difference between having a preconceived notion about someone/some thing and having a vendetta against them.

Cops are basically a legal gang who go hard for their own.

A legal gang that kills Blacks like we are deer. So, like I said before, it doesn't matter what you do, there is a probability of you dying by a cop on utter nonsense. So this guy decided to just take his chances rather than dealing with a bunch of probabilities of a cop killing him. Especially in Tennessee no less.

This is stupid logic based on what you read on this site. Please don't get your face blasted off thinking you're standing for something. :usure:

You don't know what the motives of the shooter were. It could have simply been a routine traffic stop and he could have been a felon/drug dealer who did not want to go back to jail. Of course there are cops acting outside of the confines of the law, but to assume every cop interaction has a propensity for escalating violence with basic compliance would be wrong.

Who says I am going to shoot at cops? All I have ever been saying was that there is a hostile atmosphere created by cops, and the guy that shot the cop was probably scared due to the atmosphere of cops blatantly shooting Black guys on lackluster reasoning. To suggest I am saying, "go out and kill a cop" is wrong.

Also (to the bold): "Compliance" is subjective. And often times compliance isn't necessarily warranted. Police officers -- often times -- when dealing with Blacks are acting more in accords to their own obscure perceptions/biases/prejudices and will actively neglect the rights of Black folk. Saying, "you should comply" is absolutely stupid, especially when your rights are being violated. Also, are you white?

No. The shooter is a convicted bank robber, who was in the passenger seat and stopped in the middle of a drug transaction. Obviously the only thing that can be confirmed right now is that he is a convicted bank robber:

Warrant issued for suspect in connection with officer death

Compliance is compliance when it is being administered within the confines of the law. I'm not saying let cops abuse your civic rights, but if a possible confrontation can be avoided, that is the most logical course of action to take. Now there are cops who have an agenda of course.. you as a young, black citizen should not give them an opportunity to abuse your basic human rights. Compliance doesn't mean you have to put up with their shyt. It just means you obey the laws without trying to act in a defiant manner - again within the confines of the law. If they do something untoward, make note of it and file a complaint. If they are overstepping their boundaries, then of course it is within your rights to voice your complaints.

And I'm a young, black dude myself. I have been pulled over before for having a suspended license and let go with a ticket. I don't give these dudes an opportunity to try me. I'm assertive and they know that I'm a serious person so the respect is reciprocated.
