Man it was a straight up trade. Joey went from UCLA to Tenn and Nico went from Tenn to UCLA.
and mind you, Joey is making the exact same amount at Tenn that Nico is making at UCLA, except Joey has to pay less taxes.
Tennessee won the trade, they're paying Joey much less than they did Nico and getting the same production.
It's just a huge L all around. You still need that NFL 2nd contract money to be set long term. 22 year olds leaving college with 1M in the bank, greedy familiy members and no NFL career is just a receipe for disaster long term.
Chip chose UCLA because they paid him a shyt load of money, one of the few times UCLA has really shelled out a good amount of dough for a coach. Chip had to leave because of the lack of NIL money. Jim Mora had success but even for him, if he was coaching during NIL I don't think he has those 10+ win seasons.

That's my point. UCLA won't tolerate trash coaching the way Florida does because they have higher expectations.

Cmon man. As bummy as Napier is he had two 11 win seasons at ULM and that hot streak with Lagway last season

I'm exaggerating for sure. But this year Napier is Clay Helton without Sam Darnold, but with Sam Darnold, if that makes sense.

Yeah this year of Lagway honestly reminds me of Sam in year 2.
He was winning but he did not play like the year before. With Lagway I think its a combo of injury/trash coaching
