I play tennis. I just started getting back into it after a few years and joined a tennis ladder. I went to practice the other day and got my ass handed to me...it's going to be a long three months :mjcry:

Just some science behind the point @Draje made about starting young:

"What do good athletes do when they train?" George Bartzokis, a professor of neurology at U.C.L.A., had told me. "They send precise impulses along wires that give the signal to myelinate that wire. They end up, after all the training, with a super-duper wire — lots of bandwidth, high-speed T-1 line. That's what makes them different from the rest of us."

Myelin is a fatty substance which wraps itself around the axon of neurons over time which are most frequently used by the body, meaning that the messages sent from the brain to the part of the body you wish to move are sent quicker and more efficiently.

If you are a frequent tennis player from a young age, over time you will have sent thousands of messages from your brain to your arms, hands, legs feet in order to return a serve. [This develops increased myelin or can even create myelin lining due to rapid eye movement and brain signals]

I have it in both eyes based on recent eye graphing picture at doctor. Most have it in one eye if at all and most who have it in one or both eyes need heavy prescription glasses or are legally blind. This development goes for all sports during childhood growth but especially for those in fast paced hand eye sports.

Hitting a baseball going 80+ MPH is gotta be the hardest thing in sports. I can't imagine a breaking ball going that fast or a fastball going 90+.

I taught myself how to play golf. I can shoot in the lower 80's and drive it past 280 yards and I'm only 5'9". It ain't that hard.

Yes. I agree. I tried playing a few years ago and it was one of the hardest things I've ever tried to do. And don't even think about playing when you're stressed. The foot work, hand eye coordination, conditioning, stamina, Etc. the Williams sisters deserve every dollar they make!

I played Tennis all thru high school. Its not that hard with proper coaching. You start to get a feel for it and once you start hitting shots with top spin your good. Serving over a 100mph is hard as fukk tho.

Other than golf id say baseball. Its so fukking hard to hit good pitching no matter how long u been playing

Finished #1 in the state when I was like 19 im like top 5 right now.

Cool shut, breh. I was ranked pretty high in my state but I think I started too late. I could never crack that next step into elite level. I was also a huge pothead though so that prolly didn't help.

I'm 6'5 with an isner like serve
And I'm left handed :blessed:

 thats not a good matchup for me..especially being a lefty :snoop:

i have a partially torn labrum and my UCL stays fukked up in my elbow but i can still toss around 120-130 when i dial it up. for 6'0-6'1 thats pretty much my limit unless i hit the weights again and get surgery

youd prob win 2 and 2 right now :pachaha:

id probably spam drop shots to test out your agility but that can only go so far lol
