First, these are my two favorite welterweights and I'm not rooting for any of these guys to beat the other. I truly wish they weren't in each other's way to being undisputed as I root for black fighters above all else bar none. With that being said I believe Crawford is going to knock Spence out. I think the footspeed difference is being overlooked. Shawn Porter turned Errol Spence at will when against Errol Spence had Porter against the ropes and made him look slow as molasses on several occasions. If Spence doesn't really focus and work on his footspeed he will be an easy meal for Crawford, just my two cents. Anything you guys see that you think will be a factor in the fight?

I wanna respond in depth, but this fight outcome will not be decided mainly on footspeed:francis:

Spence needs to get his jab popping like he did in all his impressive performances but imo he won't be able to, Bud too versatile for that

I’ll respond. I don’t think footspeed won’t play too much of a factor. I try to tell people Spence fought porters fight and beat him at porters fight and he didn’t have to. Pride is a muthafukka man. He stood in the pocket and traded. While crawford boxed him. I think this fight is 50/50. How fast can crawford figure out Spence. Because the pressure is coming. I think bud has the hand speed to counter and isn’t scared to trade hit for hit. When Errol fought Ugas there was times the counter was open but Spence had shyt loaded in the chamber and Ugas didn’t want it. Ugas countered well but he didn’t take every opportunity that was presented. I’m picking Spence based off style I’ve seen him fight many different styles and come out victorious if he had to box or if he has to bully come in and fight in the pocket.

Nah bro. Porter MADE him fight his fight. That's the lie Spence told the media lol. Porter makes everyone fight that way unless he chooses to box like he did with Ugas & somewhat Garcia. Porter usually pushes everyone to the edge in a firefight & Spence was no different

You need to watch the first two rounds of that fight again, Porter WAS trying to box Spence and he kept getting cut off and backed into the ropes. Once he realized that strategy wasn't going to work, he stood his ground and we got a war. Y'all need to stop acting like Porter went into that fight guns blazing from the opening bell because he clearly did not.

I wonder what impact Crawford hand speed and reach advantage will have on Spence's jab.
It really seems like the only advantage Spence will have going into the fight is physical strength and I'm not even sure about that given how physically strong Bud looked against Porter and him being in a SNAC program leading up to this fight

Think Crawford got it depending on how his chin holds up. Think Crawford laterally and step backs are too good but he lets his hands down too much and Spence can catch him.

Don't think Spence will fight Crawford like he found ugas but he doesn't have the head movement to block alot of shots. He gets hot quite a bit but he's very durable

Oh the other hand Crawford starts slow and tries to pick guys apart and Spence got too much power for that.

Fight can go 50/50 probably wouldn't bet large on it just too risky. One guy is more skilled and technical the other is stronger and durable

What you said has absolutely nothing to do with the point I was making with the person I quoted. So I have no idea why you quoting me besides you being a Spence stan. My point is & will always be is Porter makes damn near everyone fight his fight whether they want to or not. This myth Spence put out there about intentionally going to war is laughable because when you're in there with Porter & he decides to rumble, fighters have no choice but to war with him

I made the point because you act like Porter went in there and chose violence from the get go and he didn't. If anything Spence made Porter fight like Shawn Porter not the other way around, Porter was trying his best Sweet Pea impression at first. Why wouldn't Spence want a phone booth fight? Is he not strongest on the inside? What you're saying doesn't even make sense. :heh:

I have said it before and I will say it again more clearly so y'all understand fully what I'm telling you. I don't get what y'all see when y'all analyze this fight. Crawford is going to get WORKED, it is going to be a brutal ugly beatdown. This fight is not as close as y'all think it's going to be. Unless Crawford magically develops head movement, a better jab, and a better inside game he is going to get smashed. Switching southpaw once he starts getting outboxed will not work on a southpaw. Bob Arum told y'all in 2016 in an interview right before the Postol fight why he didn't match Crawford against Manny Pacquiao when Crawfordwas at 140(it had nothing to do with money), and it's the exact same reasons I don't think he was ever in a hurry to match him up against Spence because both fighters will have the exact same advantages over Crawford.

Bro, are you even reading what I posted lol? This is what I said toward the end of my last post:

"This myth Spence put out there about intentionally going to war is laughable because when you're in there with Porter & he decides to rumble, fighters have no choice but to war with him"

You're putting words in my mouth because of your pro Spence stance & you always do this lol. I never said Porter went in there with that intention but when he decides to fight, it turns into a war. That's your standom coming out bro because you feel some type of way about what I have to say about that fight
