I box and have been for a while. amateur, and train with semi pros/pros weekly still. I wouldn't want to get into a fight with a good wrestler if I didn't have to. Sure my footwork and speed will be good but I'm pretty much hedging my bests that I can knock him out in several punches because if he gets a hold of me I have 0 idea how to wrestle. If it stays on feet I like myself against most people on the street though

BJJ nikkas may be easier unless they also wrestle, but if they just a submission spammer they probs getting lit the fukk up

Man them nikkas obviously don't have no training.

Now, if the boxer also has some takedown defense its gonna be a long night for said grappler. but thats a little bit harder to learn than basic striking.

Yuriorkis Gamboa was outboxing the shyt out of Crawford the first half of the fight. Once Crawford realized Gamboa was way too small to actually hurt him, then Bud turned it up on him.

Crawford also struggled with Jose Benavidez Jr., who was on one good leg. Got a gifted stoppage in that fight to save face.
