Finance is hell to break into the industry(mid-high volume companies). Of course, if you get in, you can eat like a champ.

That kinda schedule aint shyt compared to Investment Bankers though breh But I dont give a fukk I must be one. At least for a year or 2 or a summer internship

What's the schedule for investment bankers, most of the ones I know in GA aren't working more than 40-50 a week.

All about them target schools breh. Theres so much you can get into though.

I-Banking
I-Management (What I'm leaning towards long term)
Corporate Finance
Consulting
Sales and Trading
Equity Research
Risk Management
Private Equity

Only problem is you may just be another mouse in the system making your 500K as a VP without any fulfillment. If you aint go to a target school you gotta grind that much harder too. My school is better for medicine ...top 60 in the world overall but I'm in the process of trying to transfer to this school (Best business program in Canada)

Are you sure they're I bankers? Mergers and Acquisitions? Underwriting? IPOs? etc?

Wall Street I-Bankers are looking at 100 hours a week on average. 120 some weeks.

There are more than just medical doctors you know right? And there are women out there who do make there own money and who aren't sack chasers. It's all about the places you hang out in and the circle you surround yourself with.There are pharmacists, lawyers, engineers, etc who make very good salaries. However, a millionaire will likely never have the chance to date a woman who makes nearly as much money as him. A medical doctor may make between 100k - 200k but this dude is making millions per year so there will be a disparity regardless. It's more about dating someone who doesn't value your money over who you are. This model chick comes off as a groupie, gold digger so chances are she probably is one. If a dude making 50k a year can pull a dime who isn't a gold digger than so can an NBA player.

It's more about these women that have invested a significant amount of their time/energy/effort in progressing professionally, rather than just only having their own money.

And anyway, these dudes are nba players making millions, so all this moot considering we're all not multimillionaires and our pay stubs aren't available on the internet, these guys aren't looked at the same.

My uncle did residency in NYC so when I visited him I got to witness that shyt, I learned the city by my damn self cuz this man would be gone 24 hours every other day. I can't imagine how you could get some consistent cheeks with that type of schedule.

Six to seven figure n**gas . They eating like champs and women stay on them like white on rice. You can eat good in GA broke with a degree much less with 50k.

But you got to remember, many of them are in debt due to grad school.

I just want to get around 50-60k and build from there. Get in with some powerful figure and eventually create my own empire.

I hear you man. A salary thats enough to have my family situated...a nice luxury sedan is all i need and a medium sized house with like 3,4 bedrooms.

I want to build an empire with my brothers that helps the people I'm affiliated with. The Ghanaian community out here in Toronto for instance. That MBA debt will prolly get me too though . I was gonna graduate debt free from undergrad if i dont transfer to that new school.

I hate to say it but i had to take pharmacists off my dating list because i couldnt mess with their schedule. Maybe if i could have found one who worked in a hospital and had a consistent schedule but i was messing with retail pharmacists. Their schedule is all jacked up too with random days off, long hours, always being tired, etc....
