Ever see a tracklistimg and producer credit for an upcoming album and you be like :banderas:

In 2001, I was waitin on the follow up to Krayzie's Thug Mentality 1999. I see that on the new project, he got a beat from Irv Gotti:ahh:

I start thinkin of Krayzie rappin' over some heat like this

:whew:

I buy the cd, get to the irv joint and I hear this bullshyt

:unimpressed:

Mainly I hate them fake scratches. Always have, always will. Swizz used to OD on that shyt

I don’t know what it is with Bone but they just can’t seem to pick decent beats to save their lives. They need a real producer to sit down or someone to A&R or exec produce the albums and take care of the Beats. Not necessarily one producer doing the whole project but someone to pick the right ones.

Damn really. I liked that album. What you think of “American gangster” tracks. :ehh:
haven't revisited it in years, but i remember liking a lot of it.

from what i remember it was mostly hitmen + neptunes and i think the nas song was no ID that i all liked.

crazy shyt is that a legend like Quik had so much fire he could’ve given to that album. “Justify” sounded like he panicked from getting asked to work on the project and gave up that beat instead of something that he would normally give to Suga Free or 2nd II None.

I remember reading that Jay actually requested for a producer to use those samples and Quik was the only one who even had a go at it.

yeah that album I liked a lot in high school. I wasn’t feeling blueprint 3 at all. Just wasn’t memorable to me with all that anticipation.

Dre didn't do "I Need A Doctor". Alex Da Kid is in the credits of that one.

:scust::scust::scust:Alex Da Kid and Rick Rubin should be ashamed of themselves for all those beats they did for Eminem

I've been wanting them to link with Taylor Gang for awhile now after their spot on Wiz's last album. Their rapping still sounds fresh today but they've always had production problems after their peak. Getting Juicy J, Cardo, Sledgren, Harry Fraud beats would be so clutch for them.

Quik could’ve EASILY given him one of Quik’s Groove and thrown that stupid “justify my thug” “sample” over it.

And honestly if he wanted the Justify My Love beat, why not ask Lenny Kravitz to flip the whole thing since he wrote/produced the original.

Jigga likes to get involved on the production even if it’s just choosing samples or giving ideas. It was the same with Threats. 9th has a gang of beats but Jay wanted to see what he could do on the spot and wanted something made from that R Kelly joint.
