I'm 100% certain that Alchemist sent him a bunch of beats and Eminem was like :wow: when he heard that one and nothing else.

Dre also had some bad beats on this album. :francis:

I thought "Untitled" was cool. But "Welcome 2 Hell" was better.

Eminem taking shytty beats from highly regarded producers is a tradition. Just Blaze would know:

STEPDAD IS A SOLID BEAT, ALMOST A VINTAGE EM JOINT IF THE CHORUS WAS LESS ANNOYING.....

ALL OF DRE’S BEATS ON THAT ALBUM WERE DOPE BTW

THE JOINT WIT ANDERSON PAAK :banderas:

I rushed to listen to the track below because it was a new Nas song produced by The Neptunes. It was 2003, everything they touched at the time was guaranteed fire, but we got this atrocity:

Any time I saw a Timbaland credit, I knew it would be instant replay status, the song below wasn't it:

I'm still waiting on the beat to drop on Jay Z's "Off That" while we're at it.

THAT WAS STANDARD FOR WHAT NEPTUNES WAS DROPPIN AT THE TIME......

BUT YEA, THAT TIMBO BEAT IS PRETTY BASIC FOR HIM

In retrospect that threat beat on the black album was weak. I’m one of the few who loves the justify my thug beat. It’s futuristic and unique. Bangs in the whip just as hard as PSA.

When the Black Album had like a billion remix albums, 9th did one himself and re did the beat he did for Threat with such a better beat It made the other pale in comparison I forgot the orignal

they all got em, but most named will be just failed collabs between 2 artists. RZA stole a check from Guitar Center, thats not a published piece of music lol

this? this was a grade A tease, because there was heavy Premier-Nas smoke around this time

what.the.hell.was.THAT?

Nas "expirementing" aka purposely avoiding what his fans want.

That Re-Generation track was made for some weird commercia/advertsmentl project that Hyundai did where they asked a bunch of artists and producers to collaborate with a symphony orchestra who had classical scores and work over them (Hence the whole title of it)
If I remember the behind the scenes of how it was put together (Cause they put up a behind the scenes thing on it) Preem listened to the orchestra perform the score live, just added drums and scratches and then gave it to Nas to rap on. He wasnt even allowed to chop it up and flip it up because you had to hear orchestra and then he just played it for Nas who could only rap on that.

In other words it wasnt a serious track and it wasnt like he sat there and had a choice of beats to pick:pachaha:
