This has scary implications but the technology isn't quite as advanced as people are making it out to be. The AI is trained on specific clips. The training process most likely takes a lot of time and processing power. What you are doing when you use this app is applying input (your portrait) to the end result of the machine learning process. It'll probably take decades for this to work instantly with any randomly chosen video. This definitely can't be applied (with this level of quality) to live video either.

The implementation in current culture seems to be heavily imbedded in the alt right, intelligence agencies seem to have a substantial influence in both its creation and its impact. The occult symbology that occupies that space is appearent to anyone with an eye to see which is the biggest indicator of it being handled

Politics is a game controlled by those who have power. Public has little knowledge nor have power to change it.

vote or die etc

Happened in Haiti..there is a documentary on netflix detailing how black youth were influenced through memes and youtube videos not to vote so that a certain/Indian opposition party could win the election.

They knew Indian youth would follow their parents instructions and vote. So to guarantee the an Indian win they influenced/discouraged black people from voting and it worked.

It's like wanting to get rid of trump but still telling everyone the opposition doesn't care about black people. Black people won't vote but maga cacs will turn up in their millions and trump wins. All they need is a hashtag and boom

Here is the problem with this documentary....

1. Ads influencing voters have been going on for over 50 years. Look at the Anti Goldwater Ads for example. Nothing has changed and it's legal by law in the US.

2. The documentary doesn't cover the Citizens United/Supreme Court case that corporations can put as much money into election campaign funding to push elections to sway in certain nominations.

3. No where in the documentary ever talks about Russia's involvement...

4. The documentary ignores the wikileaks documents pushing Donald Trump to the forefront by the DNC.

5. The documentary ignores MSM push for Clinton and Trump by siding with one and spending hours upon hours on the other.

6. Facebook is a corporation that promotes data mining to dozens of companies for advertising. This isn't new...its been known for over 10 years. That includes elections.

7. There are at least a dozen of C.A. like companies who go around the world to promote US/UK interests from Think Tanks government organizations. Color Revolutions are created because of this. According to National Security in these countries, it's legal.

8. The documentary doesn't explain how the Electoral College was effected by this company.

9. The documentary didn't spend any real time on YouTube videos or ads that helped shape voter turnout? The documentary doesn't even explain the percentage of each Facebook ads influenced a percentage of people on the site.

I hear you but the whole point as per this thread was how in the current situation something simple as a meme can influence the outcome of an election. This was discussed in this doc.

It was never about the meme homie. It is about algorithms created by NGO think tank companies to push agendas on people by getting their info online.
