In Nice right now at the radisson hotel. Everything is crazy, my uncle won't pick up his phone and the ambulances are ringing constantly. Not sure what is happening but everyone seems very nervous right now, especially the hotel staff. I hope this is a very sad accident but everyone is talking about a terrorist attack... again. Some journalist did say that up to now there is around 30 dead.

  More specifically: he reports that a pistol was fired from the window of the truck. He is also calling the shooter an "einzelganger."
  
  That last part is conflicting with a police statement saying that there is still one suspect on the run and that the driver has been killed.

Now there on vacation. I was sitting in a restaurant a few streets from where it happened (I assume) everyone started running in panic, probably expecting a terrorist attack. So ran as fast as possible to our vacation appartment with my girlfriend. All in all a pretty scary experience.

As a Frenchman, not many things anger me. But this. This fukking does. These are innocent people. I'm warning the world now. The drums of French nationalism are beating. And when those start shyt gets fukked. Wouldn't be surprised if new elected a far right party and went to war. Public opinion wants it.
