Why is it ONLY around Fathers Day do we have these types of arguments?

Mother's Day, we all full of love for moms and women in general. And I don't say this to dog women and those that know me, know that I have nothing but full respect for women, but I just hate how fathers get dogged. My pops told me as a boy, that a Fathers job is thankless. He is supposed to provide, protect, and love regardless of how he's perceived in the house or by the children. I believe that statement now, more than ever.

It's like as soon as June comes around people, single moms and their defenders in particular. (And I'm generalizing) folks start straight DUMPING on men. "I'm the mother AND the father" "I was raised in a single parent home and I turned out perfect" blah blah blah...I looked At the video and that white chick and whoopie were REALLY getting offended at the thought that a woman CANT be a father to her child. Baby, you can't be mom AND dad (unless something is weird going on inside of you lol)

I just hate that Crews had to "defend" fatherhood. Shepard got what he was saying, the other two were just ready to attack because they felt he was coming at their PERSONAL situations. Kids need their mom and dad in their lives for balance. Hell, they just need loving male and female role models to help them balance their thoughts and values. Instead of agreeing with him and help him talk to the fathers out there in tv land, these women were on him from jump "well, my son can't be confident because I raised him as a single mother?" "I did just fine raising him by myself" "I HAD to be mom AND dad"
such selfish ways to think...

We as society in America have to do better

humans are not animals...we have a consciousness. Male and female do have biological differences, and women do birth children, but the "natural order" as you described is not valid for the human species, and its ignorant to hundreds of thousands of years of societal organization and progress. Women werent out hunting and fighting with men for thousands of years because of "feminism". Thats some world according to bill o reilly sht.

How does societal organization or humans having a conscientiousness change any of this!? This doesn't make sense. Humans are just more evolved creatures compared to others on this Earth. The reasons why Humans are more conscious compared to other animals is because a brain has to be at a certain level of sophistication in order to be self-aware. A microbe, or even a worm, would not have any real capacity to think about itself or its surroundings, but a dog or a cat certainly does. Anyone who has had a pet dog(like I do) can tell you that they DO care about the humans in their life, and remember experiences from their past and they are capable of affection and loyalty, and they do dream. Simply because they have a larger brain compared to something like a worm. A human has more consciousness than a lion or tiger because our brains are much larger than theirs. And again Homo Sapiens were not the first humans; humans prior to Homo Sapians had much smaller brains than us and relied more on instinct and female would also nurture the child through breast feeding. Again(like I said many times) its the reason why breast milk exist in humans for a purpose. Its a reason why women(like other female mammals) evolved it. It a reason why men are stronger. Men are stronger than women in terms of muscle and athletic ability because these traits were important in competing for mates. Strong, fast men make good hunters and good providers of food/ Strong, fast men are also better at fighting other men to defend their mates from other men who might want to steal their mate or harm their children to reduce competition. These are the kinds of behaviors we see in many primate species, like gorillas in which only the biggest, strongest man gets rights to mate with all of the females. If humans are technically not animals than how to do explain humans and chimpanzees sharing a common ancestor?
