Spending money on my mother is normal. Il already do it. But spending more money on your mother than your wife is weird to me.

Unless there is a specific situation (my mother is sick or she has no resources/husband/support), there is no reason to spend more money on my mother than on my wife. I don't even see how you gonna do it. Your wife already consumes your resources, more than your mother, because she lives with you: she eats your food, sleeps in your bed, lives in your house, goes on vacation with you, etc. You pay for all these things.


I'm not saying this out of some lovey dovey fantasy. I don't trust women like that, including my wife. However, it's my duty to properly take care of her (and our kids) as the head of my household.
