The BLM movement and black violence should be addressed as two separate things.
Don't know if I agree with this. I get where you're coming from, but the bottom line is...if our own people don't address violence in our communities, who will? I don't agree with a lot of what the Black Lives Matter organization stands for, but right now they have the platform. Why not rally the masses and tackle issues in our inner cities, as well? This is why the Black Panthers were so important in the 60's. They were about our self-defense against police brutality, but at the same they were in the community educating our youth, helping the elderly, while protecting the neighborhoods. Of course, fakkit ass Hoover and the FBI shut it down...but it was working. There's no reason why the same couldn't be done now. Will the Trump-ites try to shut it down? Maybe....but while you have the support...try and see what becomes of it. Honestly, that goes for me and anyone else that legitimately wants to see our people thrive again...not just the BLM organization.
