That probably really was a 17 core processor and they accidentally let it slip and now they are trying to play it off. Don't want us normal folks to know about it.

that is the interesting part. I imagine someone talked him into building it himself. and/or maybe he realized on his own that it would be a good learning experience for him and his son

I think its about them building it together.. you know quality time spent between a father and son.. sounds like its a day to day thing and its a learning experience for both. The kid seems enthusiastic about it so maybe he'll make technology a career choice
