He deserved the money but I can understand the org too...paying a great WR who is 30, 30+ million per year can have big undesirable consequences in a couple of years

As usual let's see the guarantees and outs first tho. If commies frontloaded it then itd make sense.

Wait, where did all this talk come of him not being elite come from? Are people watching the games?

Do you know what elite means? He had one season where he somehow was voted a second team all-pro. People can say he had poor QB's, but he's not a game-breaking talent. When you have players like Mooney, Thielen, and Hollwood Brown putting up for ypg than him in recent years, you are NOT elite.

Would you put him in the same category as Justin Jefferson & Jamar Chase? They’re elite. This dude is good but I wouldn’t say elite. That’s like me saying Drake London is elite..he’s very good but not elite yet

Exactly.

To me, elite for a WR is top 5-6. I'm willing to extend it slightly depending on the players. I know Terry was one of four all-pro's last year, but no one in their right mind is thinking he's a top four WR.

He's a very good WR, but he's not a game changer like Chase, Jefferson, Hill, and some others.

nikkas pulling out stats when Redskins are a run first team

Terry accounts for 60% of their receiving yards

Y’all don’t watch football, just drink beer and watch fantasy

Stop embarrassing yourself. You really think he accounts for 60%+ of their receiving yards? :mjlol: .

Have less yards in 2023 than Pickens, an old Thielen, and an old Hopkins and think that player is "elite". :laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff:.

Edit: I didn't even factor in someone like Pickens that had more receiving yards with terrible QB play.

You're embarrassing yourself here. He's a very good WR. He is far from elite.

I'm not going back and forth. I'll be back at the end of the season when the Commanders miss the playoffs, Daniels takes a step back, Terry has another "good" season.:pacspit:.

He's a great WR and QB play in WAS didn't help him, but elite is like the the Mahomes/Lamar/Josh/Burrow level but at the WR position. I've never heard anyone bring him up discussed on the level of guys like JJ, Chase, Tyreek, Davante, Julio have/were of the past couples years.
How is he viewed compared to current top 10 WRs like AJ, CeeDee, St. Brown.
Was he thought of as being better than guys Amari, Keenan Allen, Diggs, D-Hop earlier in his career.
Before this past year, best he cracked in the NFL top 100 from peers 94 (not in the top 10 of WRs).
