but do these cars not come with any type of auto drive at first? without the upgrade?
That is janky business, but and I'm not justifying him at all ... this is just my opinion
you would be pouring jelly on yourself to not pay the 4k for auto drive. I always assumed it just came with the car.

maybe they should make auto drive a monthly subscription

Electric cars is a good idea. I just feel like it will end up like every other industry. Somebody is going to have a monopoly...Tesla got a good head start....
