That’s not the issue. There are luxury apartments that cost 3k and up. But what good is getting an EV if you have nowhere to charge it overnight? A building with let’s say 150 condos, with garage parking will only have 10 charging stations max.
There are other places to charge than overnight at home. I know some people that charge while they are at work, or while out shopping/eating out. People that are handicapping themselves to only charge at home are doing it wrong.

Most businesses don’t have charging stations. And as far as everything else, who wants to plan their day around charging their car? How often do people go out shopping.

The piece of mind to simply plug in at home just makes sense.

But just like catalytic converters I can envision a time where thieves will go around stealing chargers.

We as a society aren’t built for mass high speed rail or electric vehicles. The infrastructure also costs way too much due to how the state and local government works. Then you have the oil and gas industries steadily throwing up road blocks.

None of this will be a reality for another 100 years.

My wife said she'd rather drive a prius. To be fair, this is the new prius:

It's a PHEV (and a prius) so it's not really competition. We'll see what Toyota does with Lexus, but they've been dragging their feet on full EVs.
Been seeing this around lately and it doesn't look bad in comparison :ehh: Tesla is old news especially with MagaMusk in charge. fukk em :pacspit:

Arnault made his fortune building the world’s largest luxury conglomerate, which includes brands like Louis Vuitton but also Tiffany, Tag Heuer, and Celine.
What a fukking shyt world when the CEO for a fashion company that makes clothes for the rich is the richest person in the world :wow:

It may make sense logically (rich people supporting/throwing money at other rich people), but it really doesn't stop the world from being shytty.

Brings zero value to 9/10 people. Tax the rich more if they ain't helping anybody out and spending it on themselves.

Saw a breh in a Lucid Air recently. I don't like EVs but it made me stop and stare. Tesla better have something new coming down the pipe because everyone else is working hard on their EV lineups.

Tesla charging Stations are the only things keeping them in the lead. Electric america and those other ev charging stations are such a hit or miss.

need to drop that cyber truck :mjlol:
I'm already forseeing the stories from Youtubers in the future

"the Tesla Cybertruck: the vehicle that never happened"

Enjoy this moment, we are watching Elon fail in real time.
:banderas:

His Twitter acquisition might be his biggest L! Cause at this point, it's been all Ws with some Ls here and there that were minor because of his wealth and status.

All of his supporters are watching the moves he makes and are now talking about selling their Teslas and boycotting Tesla.

The guy is his own worst enemy.

Pssssst....the liberal wing of the Democratic Party is trying to get rid of cars, so the EV revolution is largely a scam

You can't have EV's replace combustible engine vehicles if no one has a place to charge the vehicles, and the liberals of the Democratic party want everyone to live in towers on top of each other where that will NEVER be a possibility.

Pass it on
