My wife said she'd rather drive a prius. To be fair, this is the new prius:

It's a PHEV (and a prius) so it's not really competition. We'll see what Toyota does with Lexus, but they've been dragging their feet on full EVs.

Toyota TYPICALLY takes a wait and see approach. But when they do release something, it's usually dead nuts reliable. If I were Tesla, I'd be worried that they've kept largely quiet, especially since they've disassembled and reassembled every Tesla model that's currently out multiple times -- Toyota knows what's good about them and what needs work.

I live in a condo. My building only has 6 and 2 are always broke. So people be fighting for them all the time.

Then u have people who don’t have EV’s that park there because they don’t want to park on the higher floors.
Pretty sure you can get them towed/there’s ordinances against that.

Tow companies won’t come unless they have an agreement with the building. Which they don’t. And the city won’t don’t shyt because it’s private property and if they did try to tow, by the time the they come, the car is already gone.

In 10 months or so news stories are gonna float about how his employees are getting fukked over in some way
Yeah. Everyone wants to do mass layoffs and hide it in as a recession side effect.

Just firing a bunch of people for stock price is going to bring down heat.

All those Ford, GMC, etc EVs are losing tens of thousands on each vehicle they sell.. and they not even hitting 100000 vehicles a year.. Tesla turning big profits on each of the prob million plus vehicles this year.

And for you futuristic people who think that personal vehicles are on the way out Tesla is far away the leader in autonomous vehicles in which they wouldn't even sell the cars anymore and become a hugely profitable Uber with no drivers to pay and no competition.

fukk Elon but I've had shares since two splits ago and nothing I seen in this thread is scary sounding..

Most businesses don’t have charging stations. And as far as everything else, who wants to plan their day around charging their car? How often do people go out shopping.

The piece of mind to simply plug in at home just makes sense.

But just like catalytic converters I can envision a time where thieves will go around stealing chargers.

We as a society aren’t built for mass high speed rail or electric vehicles. The infrastructure also costs way too much due to how the state and local government works. Then you have the oil and gas industries steadily throwing up road blocks.

None of this will be a reality for another 100 years.
This isn’t true, all it takes is a couple of bills to start building charging stations, why you think they building offshore wind farms off the coast of New York New Jersey

TYRONE GA!
The Ford Lightning is going to dominate the market next year. If you're a Tesla investor you've watched this shyt plummet all year while the CEO spends much of his social media time trolling and ruining the brand's positive image. Tesla was largely sold to people who cared about clean energy and "saving the planet" - you know...liberals. Killing your branding at a time when the competition is at an all time high is a laughably stupid idea but then again he's a laughably stupid man. Who has been bailed out multiple times by the feds. That's not happening again whether Biden is president or Trump wins.

SpaceX is also in trouble as competition rises.

Elon is killing my stock. I'm finna cry.

But I'm still getting my cybertruck. All these other competitors had years to get into the space and only did it because they have no choice now.

Supercharger network is why I'm sticking with Tesla. That's one thing they others don't and won't have. That was the deciding factor for me along with all of the data/experience from being the main EV guys in the game from the jump.
