Tetsuo & Youth is too cryptic for me

I've listened to this album all the way through twice. I just can't get into it. I love the production, and i like the lyrivs

You love it. But can't get into it?

This album isn't cryptic. There's a song about guns, one relating sacred geometry to signing a deal (dots & lines), interludes of the seasons.. mural explaining life in general "we're all chemicals, vitamins and minerals..." It's not that difficult. The metaphors obtaining to niche markets like video games, maybe but everything else...

Like, the album isn't cryptic depending whose playing it.. Being that it's directed at a particular geographic of people I guess I am forced to agree it is cryptic in a sense.

Aseop isn't nonsensical at all, infact Lupe is more nonsensical than Aseop. Aseop's shyt is deeper and better in that style, if you go on Rap Genius you'll see breakdowns of Aseop's shyt which is better than Lupe's lmao. Check Daylight. I don't even listen to Aseop like that because the delivery doesn't appeal much to me at times nor the beats, but he's a good lyrcist, and is abstract but makes sense and isn't just puzzle rap with no purpose, Aseop is an abstract writer but can also rap. Canibus though, he destroys Lupe in that area and can make better much more listenable songs, and is also a superior MC by far.

If you flip the album order around and play it from the end to the beginning the sequencing and the story theme of the album makes arguably more sense.

Yeah me again, ALL my time? Lol. This is what I mean, people so caught up in their feelings/stanning they don't have any sense of reality lol. Check my threads, and posts too actually and you'll see have been speaking about masses of shyt. I just posted in this cause was at the top of the page, so opened and read it.

It's not about words, it's about him using those words in a corny way, I've shown people some of the bars and they thought it was trash, some are even MC'S, they better than Lupe too lol. Lmao that's corny and doesn't even make sense lol, I'm gonna post what I want, I'm not bullying Lupe or nothing, he's a grown man, I don't hate Lupe at all, I think when I've seen him speak which isn't hugely but when I have he's come across quite likable and I like some of his songs/music, I don't like THIS album cause there's a lot I don't like about it, because a lot of it is subpar to me and is getting ridiculously over hyped and over blown. But I've praised Lupe work even some ardent Lupe fans don't like, and some higher than they praise it, I like Lupe WHEN he is dope, but I can't like him when he's being wack... sorry.. And you're gonna say or think how is he wack on this album and most probably put a smiley, there's numerous awful lines on the album, so many, and people are hyping it like it's the greatest lyrical displays ever, and a lot of people have said really ignorant things, no-one, no Lupe fan or anybody else has explained the lines I've mentioned to me and why they are dope, just ignoring the topic or trying to make excuses, when people hype shyt as THE best lyrics you have to be able to break that shyt down, I've broken it down and seen a lot of corny and sub par shyt that nobody can justify so how it's dope. If you put something on a pedestal it has to stand up, if it doesn't that isn't my fault, I'm not gonna dikkride anybody if I don't like it and am gonna be objective/honest.
