Its a good tape but hasn't really resonated with me either.

For me the last great Lupe songs I liked after enemy of the state is all black everything and double burger with cheese.

In fact I think double burger with cheese is in contention for one of Lupe's best tracks of all time.

I think it was the first t&y release date thread when I seen it first hand. Dudes really like "well rhyming words and lots of meanings is corny". Could of swore those are key elements of a hip hop track

Mural is so fukking overrated

True, unlistenable, people think it's amazing cause he says a few slightly bigger words lol. I listen to MC's that have a bigger and better vocabulary and can actually use it more effectively and make dope songs with it.

Lupe stans feel entirely different about this album from the people that are objective fans. I guess that makes sense since Lupe stated he made this album for his hardcore fanbase. But because of that I think they tend to overrate the album. Like most I enjoy it, but think its an overly complicated album for no reason.

It's an album to impress his hardcore fan base, the nerd fan base, because they like it they put a titles on it that most other objective people don't feel. Most people don't give a fukk about those pointless corny references, they wanna hear good music, not listen to albums backwards and post pics of album covers that have babies on them. Can you imagine any real hood dudes doing that shyt? Lmao. Nas, Pac, KRS-One, Rakim even you can enjoy the shyt, some of Lupe's is unlistenable crossword puzzle type shyt, boring as hell, was an absloute ordeal to listen to. People hyping it like it's the GOAT album and Lupe is the GOAT rapper now lmao. All Eyez On Me alone is better than Lupe's catelogue, as is Life After Death.

It's an honest opinion, there's no hate involved, I've given props to Lupe where it's due, this album is overrated though by the nerd fan base. People are easily impressed by pesudo intellectual shyt cause they are so dumb, they think if they don't understand it it must be amazing lol, when you understand it you see it isn't lol. It's not about what it has, it's whether it's a dope song and to me personally it's unlistenable, good beats though, if you disagree so be it, I don't care if someone likes it or not, so don't see why you care if someone doesn't. I will certainly go ahead and it will break it down properly the point.
