Report: Texans have been selected for NFL's 'Hard Knocks'

Getting selected for HBO's "Hard Knocks" television series is an accomplishment no NFL team seems to want, but according to reports, theHouston Texans will be featured on this season's edition of the program.

The Texans were one of the three finalists, along with the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins, to be chosen for the reality series, which any team can volunteer to take part in but none do. The league developed a criteria to be selected for the program, where any franchise with a new head coach, a playoff appearance in the last two years or having been on the show during the last 10 years can opt out.

Houston features one of the game's most dominant defensive players in J.J. Watt, aloof running back Arian Foster, Bill Belichick disciple Bill O'Brien as head coach, and Ryan Mallett and Brian Hoyer battling for the No. 1 quarterback spot. Will it make for interesting TV? Time will tell.

I think it will be interesting. The main reason why they got rid of Swearinger is because he was fighting everyone and was influencing Clowney to the point he was doing the same. Plus the QB battle
