That I do think happens. I been saying this for months but solid blue states will likely be the incubator for most of the people and policies that fix this mess, just like the solid red states are the ones who sent in the people and policies who broke it. Trump being from NY doesn’t hide the fact he moved to Florida and is a resident from there.

It sounds like Newsome, Hochul, and Pritzker all are involved. They are in some of the bluest states with major blue cities and 100% should be leading on things like this.

Good points. This is how you combat Trump. If Texas backs down (or the clock gets run out) I'm fine with Newsom and the other governors holding off. But until that happens this threat should be on the table and ready to be utilized.

It's very likely republicans lose the House next year if no map changes are made. And it's not just Texas. Vance went to Indiana to try to convince their governor to pull a similar stunt.
