One could argue that public humiliation is worse than the sentence he would get if he was found guilty for trespassing.

right, right... i feel that.... my point was really that you seemed surprised that they hate us so much.... cacs have done much worse things than this to us, so this shouldn't be surprising...

i get the cats that are pointing out the humiliation and dehumanizing aspect of parading a black man through the streets... i understand that type of thing is problematic in its own right..... what i'm saying is, yes cacs hate us that much and much, much, much more... history has proven this to be the case and cacs have shown us this level of hatred all over the world...

when cacs tell us they hate us, we need to believe them.....
