LBJ is the only true native Texan to be the US President.

But Texas holds Bush 1, Bush 2, and an outsider like Reagan in higher regards than the only native Texas US President Lyndon B. Johnson.

Beto is not inexperienced. He has been a member of Congress for 5 years (just as long as Cruz). Also, he was a member of the El Paso City Council for 6 years (2005-2011).
