Texas doesn't have the brains to elect him, but maybe the rest of the country does. BETO2020

I don't give a shyt about the Democrats TN elected when they were a racist ass party. Facts are Trump has a higher approval rating in TN than Texas. Also wacko Blackburn was up in the latest poll. At least in Texas Beto can engage all the Cali transplants and the new Hispanic voters. To say he has zero chance when most Texans dissapprove of Cruz and Beto is within a few points that polled registered voters instead of likely voters is crazy talk.

Tennessee have a recent history of voting Democrat. :aicmon:

Most of the Cali transplants are conservatives and Hispanics have the lowest voter turnout rate out of all demographics.

I willing to do a ban bet for the Beto vs. Cruz election. :smugdraper:

I think a lot of you are underestimating the Trump effect. The guy is unprecedented and this is the first election day where people aren't sleeping. You gotta factor in the turnout by the Democrats in those big cities and the regular Republican voters staying home cause they are indifferent.

Remember they elected a Democrat in fukkin Alabama on the backs of black women.

Plus Beto is putting in that groundwork in those real red texas districts to not flip it but to keep some people at home. And Ted Cruz is not really likeable.

Not saying he is gonna win big outside of the margin of error but I dont think he is gonna get demolished.

Im saying he could make it a very interesting election night in the lone star state.

I willing to do a ban bet for the Beto vs. Cruz election. :smugdraper:

let me think about that. i gotta see what comes out about trump. i acknowledge he needs some help to win so let's see how the next two months go then I'll tag you if I'm down.

but breh i notice in our discussions you have a lot of old fashioned opinions of Texas and the city of Dallas. how often do you come back here? i see beto signs all over HP, Frisco, Richardson, Plano, Frisco. when has that ever happened for a Democrat?

Yep I live here too and Beto has major, major momentum right now. Would def consider him as a pres candidate. He’s smart, youthful, energetic, progressive, hard working. Great candidate

Those same signs you see are doubly out numbered by the people that will vote for Ted Cruz.

Rural Texas plays a big hand in the state election as well.

You will see that it's the same Texas comes November. :sas2:

Democrats are wasting time, money, and resources in Texas IMO. :yeshrug:

People are crediting the Texas Republicans for the booming economy in the state. And I have agree as well. :yeshrug:

The lack of state government regulations on businesses are what is attracting numerous companies to the state of Texas.

Companies are free to do whatever the hell they want in Texas. :yeshrug:

All the Democrats would do is put state government regulations on businesses. Causing a reverse reaction of what is going on in Texas now.

I'm just keeping it 100. :manny:

I just donated some money to his campaign with the thought being that it's a still long shot. But if anyone surprises in situations like this, it's those with superior / intense ground game, and it seems like Beto's been on one. Dude has great stage presence as well and the Dem bench is weak as fukk. Too bad he's in TX. Feel like he could flip a state like GA where the demographics are a bit more favorable.

This

When it comes to running for senate in southern states. He would've a better chance in Arkansas and Tennessee as well.

In it's prime the kkk's biggest chapter in the country was in Dallas. There are still sundown towns in East Texas. I still think Beto is a couple of big Trump scandals away from winning this thing. I drove ten blocks in a 95% white neighborhood yesterday and counted a dozen Beto signs. I've never seen a work ethic and ground game like this. The issue in Texas is voter apathy and conservative ass Hispanics. It's not like Cali. The last poll that had Beto down a few points showed that 40% of Hispanics were voting for Cruz.
Can you explain the conservative Hispanics

I’ll never understand that
