no one does, but its a Republican...
In a nutshell, Rosemary Lehmberg is the head of a unit called The Texas Public Integrity Unit...one of the things they investigate is government corruption...something that Perry's name comes up in a lot...Rosemary got drunk one night, got pulled over, and Perry tried to force her to resign buy vetoing anything that would give her unit funding...which is pretty much an abuse of power as Governor...which is what he is being indicted on...
As far as going to jail...I guess it all depends on when this get's wrapped up...his last day in office is sometime in January...he gets everything wrapped up and fades to the background...no one will care...but come next presidential election...if he hasn't faded to the background...I think it is very possible he goes to jail if for no other reason that someone...either republican or democrat...will want to start the ball rolling for their presidential campaign as "the person who tossed the longest tenured texas governor in jail for abuse of power"
I'd say the second one is highly unlikely...but..even with this...Perry thinks he has a real shot at being president...which, when the last thing you did was get indicted...isn't going to happen
