Charlie Strong was not going to be fired, the Kansas loss and subsequent losses forced their hands and he deserved to be gone at that point.

Charlie Strong would be at Texas right now if he beat KU and beat TCU. You don't lose to KU and keep your job. You don't go 6-7, 5-7, and 5-7 at a major program and think you're going to keep your job. Texas was non-competitive against TCU in all three of his years. Shoddy game mismanagement, situational football, and dumb decision after dumb decision. Texas was not showing any improvement in year 3. If Texas shows no improvement by that time, than this thread can definitely be made or you can up this thread. But Texas needed to make a change. There was going to be no 4th year after falling to KU.
