The fact that you can walk down the street and have some lunatic sporadically gun you down is something that separates America from other modern nations.

I travel alot. This literally does not happen anywhere else and with such regularity in developed nations. Even in developing nations, this level of random violence is unseen. Not a healthy society spiritually or mentally and therefore not an ideal society to raise your family in.
