Yeah it's a pain in the ass.

Some insurances will charge extra to cover shyt like theft and vandalism. Some insurances won't even cover certain vehicles because of high theft, KIA is dealing with this issue right now. Plus most insurances will require a deductible that most people can't afford.

It's crazy how alot of people seem to think this shyt is a minor inconvenience to most people. I have zero sympathy for thieves.
Someone broke my car window and all I could think about was murdering the individual who did it. I can only imagine the rage one would have to have their entire car stolen.

Wasn’t the smartest thing to do but oh well… There could be consequences after you steal some shyt. Think about that and move accordingly
i was gonna say criminals like this should live with a healthy fear of retaliation
but a lot of thieves and shooters prob dont gaf what type of fukkery awaits them as a result of their actions

The story in the OP was updated today, but there's no mention of what you're claiming.

Police said the man saw his truck in the parking lot, walked up to the stolen vehicle in an attempt to confront the person inside, and some sort of disagreement ensued. Soliz said he could not confirm if the man and the suspected thief argued, but said the car theft victim told police he believed the suspected thief pulled out a gun which prompted "a firefight."

Police said that, at this time, they believe the car thief victim is the only person to have fired shots and could not confirm if there was more than one weapon found at the crime scene.

The suspected thief, another man, was shot and pronounced dead, Soliz said. His identity has not been released. The car theft victim reportedly stayed at the scene of the shooting, complied with police, and was taken into custody for questioning. The shooter is not expected to face charges, Soliz said

Everybody saying they hate thieves better not have stole as much as a pack of gum.

I hope he gets life
Stealing a pack of gum from a store and violating someone’s property by stealing their car are not even remotely the same. There are levels to everything.

One kid steps on a roach and kills it. The other kids finds someone’s dog an strangles it. Are they the same?
