We're talking about natural disasters. It is not perfectly reasonable to expect heat and power during a natural disaster. We can certainly hope for it. But it's, in fact, the opposite. We should expect heat and power to go out during such an event. That's how you prepare and make contingency plans.

The overwhelming majority of what is happening in Texas is human error. If you don't think so, go look and see how much power Texas consumes between the beginning of july and the end of august, and then look at how much power is needed now. One of these numbers is higher than the other. But these dumb ass cacs in Texas don't understand simple concepts of gases and liquids that run gas power plants having a freezing point, or you know, care enough to even confirm that generators actually work...

Dumbasses aren't even smart enough to properly roll power. How they even thought they could with different parts of texas electric grid having had different upgrades and not being compatible with each other goes to show that Ercot hasn't been paying attention to shyt AT ALL
