Why did I think this was going to be something Gang or Race related

I remember at my school, they banned a color because a gang wore it.

Where I went to school your school colors were your set. You catch someone from another school in their colors, it was on sight.

Even girls would get beat up or their shyt took, trying to be cute and wearing a jacket or hoody from the other school of the guy she was dating.

It was an unwritten rule that you don't do that shyt. Particularly during football or basketball season.
