This is why we are looking into home schooling with textbooks from the 1900’s before all this dumb shyt started taking place.
That being said the Nazi viewpoint being taught I think is important to show kids what was in the Germans heads at the time and highlight how they were wrong about what they did. I don’t see the fault in that but I already know what time it is when it comes to correctly teaching opposing viewpoints of historical events in this fk hole of a country
That's not controversial at all, that's literally studiying History and the political/economical context at the time and studyng the propaganda that took advantage of it. IIRC I studied some of that myself way back when (this was in the french system). That's not an "opposing view", it's how things happened.
To the subject, this is what happens when when "opinions" are seen as being as relevant as facts and/or "I'll do my own research" becomes a mantra to people.
