I liked this film. The subtle ways they touch on the build up to gentrification, the importance of the father figure, showing growth in one's character... a black story that flipped the script on how these dramas are generally executed.

Did not see that coming...what a plot twist
Almost think this movie should have been shorter or got to the revelation sooner and dealt with the ramifications of it. Last act really made the movie for me.
