i watched Ride Along 2 with the face the entire time...not one laugh in that shyt. even Eddie Murphy's worst film has a few genuine laughs. this new era is trash.

I don't know much about him but the few times I've seen Jerrod Carmichael he's been a little funny.

Id say Patrice O'neal started to gain some steam after Dave and then he died. Maybe Hannibal might be the guy right now, although I know people still have him off for the Cosby fiasco.

Its either him or Jerrod. Jerrod has a network TV show and an HBO special in his 20's. Thats pretty much unheard of.
