This was before Timbaland even started working with Timberlake. It wasn't just Timbaland, but his material wasn't being written by Static as much anymore either.

Even when Timbaland went off and did Futuresex/Lovesounds with Justin, he reached out to Ginuwine and nothing happened until 2009.

Rappers as R&B singers come up from teh same neighborhoods so why is that awkward or unusual? Probably know the same crews, the same people.

Them 90s R&B cats is cut from a different cloth. You can tell they thug nikkas and you really don't want to fcuk with them but they pull off the smooth seductive shyt for the ladies so it doesn't seem so obvious.
