Now I know I am a z-list poster so I wont get a gold or plat thread but man...... My father is a black man working for a hospital (some type of Director) he put me in contact with his associate who also is a black man who does Business(I think hedgefund or het sets up peoples stock portfolios I forget) I recently graduated and I have a job as a business analyst the next week (well start next month but interview process is over and the HR told me I got it.) I know I aint making bank like yall IT brehs but I think I'm gonna make it.


P.S. This is what black people should do set up a personal network...I promise breh I will help any black breh who graduates from college get a job from my network pool. :takedat:

I worked my ass off in undergrad to get a financial analyst position, despite great grades I still couldn't get it, my school lacked black networking. Salute toyou my brother

Did you do internships? I see chicago in your reppin location I thought they would have tons of black professionals. I honestly would just get a mentor and do volunteer work for them to boast up your resume breh or at least add as many as possible on Linkdin (which I think someone should make a spinoff thread so all the business brehs can help each-other out )

Congrats and this is how it should be done breh. If anything, when you have the time, go to your old campus or other local colleges and recruit or connect with young black men that you see potential in and create a small network where you can keep in contact with em. Stop letting only the white folks eat, we tryna put something on our plate too.
