I wouldn't go that far, they are about equal to me

they are basically the same shyt, take care was just more refined

Let me start by saying they are both classic.
But, TC is the better album( I have detailed it on here numerous times)
The genius of TML is the hooks (best collection of hooks on 1 album in rap history) and the features( every feature verse was strong as fukk)

If Take Care wasn't so long I'd put it over TML. Plus I had a preconceived notion of what TC would be and it wasn't that so I'm biased anyway.

Thank Me Later always felt like the label put him in the studio with the best producers and the best rappers out at the time and said "make hit music". They took the best 13 singles from what he came out of those studio sessions and packaged it in an album.
Take Care is a much better body of work for me. Similar to So Far Gone. Real cohesive, really well sequenced and thought out. If I hear Ignorant shyt from SFG I almost have to let the whole mixtape ride out. If I hear We'll Be Fine on Take Care, again, I have to let the whole thing ride out.
If I hear "Fancy" though, I am no way inclined to bang out the rest of TML.
