That Spain team had cohesion and a lot of talent. I do agree that 92's bigs would have a field day. 08 would have had to fast break em to death and hit 3s.

92 team had a lot of older cats and bigs so they could get worn down. And they only had like 3 guys who shot threes

Everyone on the 08 team was 30 and under and in their primes except magic and larry

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Man, I don't know if people actually watch the games or of they just go by who's there and who's not there, but that 2012 team played absolutely incredible. I downloaded and still have every game. Not sure if we'll ever see a team that shoots the ball like that squad again. I'd take 2012 over 2008, easily. They simply played better.

What made the '12 team so remarkable was the complete change in philosophy. It used be "play zone and make USA shoot 3s." That team completely flipped that and broke records from 3.

With that being said, 2008 was just as dominant and played better competition. 2004-2008 was probably the peak of international competition. If u notice, its a complete cake walk now...especially with them moving the 3pt line back changing the lane. They can send the B-squad to Rio next summer walk away with gold

Pure nostalgia :patrice: forgot how crazy guys like Wade and D-Will were pre-injury, all of it so nasty

Made it look like an All-Star game with that transition and passing fukkery too, best way to describe it was that it looked like all the fun in the world, even at the expense of those poor foreigners going 100%

Even Michael Redd and Tayshaun Prince got to eat a little too :mjpls: those guys before age/injuries were cool players too. Amazing team without (arguably) being the very best we've ever put out before

J Kidd too :banderas:
I remember everybody shytting on Coach K for starting Kidd, saying he was way over the hill, and Paul and D. Will should get all of those minutes, but anybody who actually knows anything about basketball (or actually played it, which disqualifies damn near all of the media and 60% of Twitter heads) saw Jason doing some near genius shyt during those Olympic games. Some of those passes he was willing to throw and chances he took were :dead: and they always seemed to work out.
