Lose to the Spurs in 07? Yea he could/should have played better, but no shame in losing that series :yeshrug:

Lose to San Antonio last year? I think he should have shot more. Should have been aggressive like he was yesterday (well maybe not that much)...at least then his jumper was on point :ehh:. But that Spurs team was just a machine. No shame in that :manny:

Lose to Golden State without Love and maybe Kyrie? Thats a lot of L's. :patrice: But no shame if he keeps scoring 30+ :ld:but then you remember...

Its that 2011 series brehs. That was there for the taking. Dirk balled out :ehh: But if LeBron was at least 2006 LeBron they win it all.

Spo, Bibby playing, Joel getting mins, etc etc there are more than enough reasons to know why they lost. But LeBron just needed to do his job like Wade and Bosh.

If he's 3-3 (if they lose to Golden State) are we really sweating it? Nah. 2-4 just looks bad. Especially when one of those series he flat out blew it.

He wont get a pass for these finals because of that 2011 series. After a while its time he wins a series he has no business winning. Its the one thing that can truly erase that from being a talking point.

So if he's gotta average 36+/10/7....so be it. He's go above and beyond to make up for when he had that epic collapse. Dude should have 3 championships already.

Has to be the WOAT Finals performance from a top 25 player, right?

Its something that I will never be able to erase from my memory when taking into account his legacy
Thankfully you weren't around to see Magic Johnson play like Tragic Johnson first time around facing Boston.

Oh wait!! I saw that bad series by Magic and 30 + years later, it doesn't mean shyt to his legacy.

Magic also went on to win 5 times, and was already a 2 time champion at the time, so theres that

He also put up 18 & 14 on good shooting percentages :ld:

Was he shrinking up every 4th Q like Bron did or something?

and I said it personally would always be a stain on his legacy for ME, you gonna tell me how I have to judge players now?

Catch 22. Would he have came back n dominated winning dat MVP and back to back chips if he hadnt got embarrassed/humbled? :patrice:

Or would he have gotten da taste of victory n let dat drive him to anotha 2? :patrice:

Dats da only reason why I'm not at a full 100% on 2011 being a fukked up thing to happen.

He goofed dat finals tho. No doubt.

He still put 18/7/7. It was just such a shock to see him avoid shooting the ball at all.

Again remove that series from his legacy. Or if they didnt even make the finals that year there would be as much shyt talk about him. This is his chance to redeem that. He may have had the WOAT. But he's got a chance to have the GOAT....because thats pretty much needed..

Magic did blow that series. But Magic also played Center and won a championship without Kareem in the closeout game. Its easy to overlook those mistakes when you've already stacked chips.

Just the way it is. :manny:

I struggle with that as well. Would he not have worked on his game? Would he have just let Wade be the guy? Idk.

But truth is it shouldnt even come down to that. Dude already lost a finals. He was already hated. He should have been eager to win the chip that year. shyt he just gave Bulls that work in the ECF and the Celtics. No reason to cost a team the championship. He was the one who said not 1, not 2, :francis:

He also lost 4. dr. j won 1 and lost 4.

Their legacy for most of us ( I'm :old:... :heh:) who didn't see them in their heyday is pretty much intact and great yet you believe you're going to carry that years from now.

:heh:

Ok....

Series is a strong word. More like he struggled late in the final game. Didnt watch it live. But watched the old replays (years ago). I'd trust your view on it better than mine. I did hear "Tragic Johnson" a lot years ago so maybe I was just easily influenced.

It did.

Its just damn he should at least have 3 right now. If it dont work out this year...oh well...try and get 4 next year.

Not sure how many years he has left in his prime.

A player of his talent should win at least 4 or 5. :mjcry:

I'm telling you as an old man that the older you get and years pass with you realizing you may never see a player like Bron again, the things you are whining about now disapate and replaced by appreciation.
