Even summer 93. So many unbelievable classic of classic albums that year. The big ones for me were chronic (my first real rap album, it got me away from vanilla ice, hammer and kriss kross), bacdafucup (my first album on CD), Black Sunday. Those were pretty much the first 3 albums the older heads put me on to. Albums were hard to come by at that age so I played the shyt out of those 3.

True legends, real OG shyt, shyt our parents used to vibe to :wow: :wow:

untouchable decades of black excellence.

:dwillhuh:

all these songs are from different years/decades,

and in the OP, I said "modern times".
i'll say this tho; your post made me add that to the thread title.

I have more of a bias towards 97-98 but to be honest, it doesn't hold a candle to 92-93.

1994-1995 is neck and neck with 1992-1993. We are talking pop culture, Movies, music etc.

From Pulp Fiction to Forrest Gump to Shawshank Redemption, Above The Rim, Léon: The Professional, Bad Boys, Heat, The Usual Suspects, Higher Learning, Seven, Casino, Friday, etc.

Then on the album tip you have Illmatic, Ready To Die, The Diary, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Liquid Swords, Me Against The World, The Infamous..., E. 1999 Eternal, Dah Shinin’, etc... Not to mention classic singles that were in heavy rotation like All I Need Remix, One More Chance Remix, Playas Anthem, Get Money, etc etc etc.

:whew:
