I assume you're talking about when Daniel Bryan mania first took off, and yea it was weird because Punk was basically a mid carder last year in that Ryback feud and just..there, you knew he was bothered by that whole deal, and although different circumstances, Austin did do the same thing shortly after Mania X-8 when he was treated like a mid carder while Rock/Hogan shined, and then involved in a mediocre feud with Big Show and Flair and then being asked to job to Lesnar
