According to sources, WWE had original plans to feature both The Muppets and Paige VanZant as surprises at the SummerSlam pay-per-view. Apparently, that isn't going to happen now as The Muppets have a scheduling problem that came up.

The company had been in talks with VanZant for a role at SummerSlam, but negotiations ended up falling through.
