:blessed: Had to do this the other day to some underwriter in my company. Killed her soul so tactfully and responded to all the CCs.

So better to let them know where they fukked up then to go off on them

I'm a glorified auditor and them some :ehh:

I oversee a broadband grant awarded to my territory, (the USVI) which includes but isn't limited to the procurement/solicitations of contractors, contractual monitoring, financial and property management, internal controls for audit trail purposes impromptu site visits to make sure people are doing what they're supposed to do and them some :manny: a LOT of red tape...SHPO, EA, and FONSI regulations that we have to adhere to, especially since this is a tropical region and we're laying underground wires and pipes (@Phoenix_Knightly23 :shaq: ) underwater, underground and above ground....

i'm also being transitioned to do other legal related stuff, like drafting Award Action Requests to the feds, (i.e. NTIA, NOAA, NIST.....) the job is a perfect resume builder and I have some pull here when it comes to recommendations and getting into that dere good law school in D.C....just gotta keep saving up moolah :blessed:

I'd like to draft your award action requests :shaq:

You know when some genius in another dept doesnt have their facts or information straight about something, or something wasnt done on time & they try to throw you under the bus or single you out. And rather than just asking you directly via email or calling, they want to CC everyone of importance in the company on the e-mail.

It's only happened a couple of times, but the feeling in reading their email is :what: .....then it turns to  .....then getting ready to respond it's :birdman:then you hit "Reply All" & after you finish it turns into :banderas:

After you're done correcting them(politely of course) step by step in detail as to why they are completely incorrect, leaving them with no room to respond, following it with a "please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions. Thanks."

:laff: I've had this happen before. And once you ether them, they will respond to you directly with "thanks, sorry", nah fukk boy, you need to apologize to me with everyone CC'd on that shyt since you tried to disrespect me in front of everyone.

Sorta the opposite happened one time at work.

You know how companies have like a one month refrigerator policy with food, then they throw it out. Well one woman I guess was a step away from becoming a germaphobe. Everyday she saw this one :flabbynsick: sandwich that was molding. Yet for some reason, when she asked people to throw it away, no one did.

Finally though she had enough and flipped out to spend a hour of her time writing a letter to the whole branch office here in Madison. The only problem was she sent it out to the ENTIRE COMPANY.

So everyone got "GET RID OF THAT NASTY ASS SANDWICH FROM THE FRIDGE" including the board. When she founded out that in her rage, that she did that she first tried to do the recall button but it was too late. :banderas:

Woman suffer one hell of a anxiety attack, wasn't fired but after a week off, she decided to leave like 3 months later. :mjlol:

The 6
you ALWAYS need a written trail, no matter how close or far away the person is.

Don't trust anyone in business to "remember" anything they told you

So true.

And I have had meetings with bosses at my old company for being too aggressive in my wording in these types of emails. Nevermind that I was right and the other person was trying to pass off responsibility to our department, I shouldn't have accused him of doing it.

I was also banned from talking to one dude from IT cuz the ether would send him into rages/sulking fits like he was a kid.

In both situations, my boss was laughing about it, not telling me I was wrong, that's just how the corporate world is...

I emailed this bytch to verify the time and place of a meeting that got moved twice already. Her snarky ass replies saying "I took the time to copy and paste the email I sent yesterday. It would be nice if you would have taken the time to read it." So I replied, "I apologize. Thank you for taking the time to copy and paste that entire email. I also took the time to look through the address line and noticed that my email was never on there."

Her next response was 3 hours later... to change the meeting for a third time.
